Tour Itinerary
7:30am Hotel pick up
We will start our pick ups each morning at around 7:30 am, the exact time at your hotel will be provided via email with the confirmation, once the booking has been properly made. It can be 10 minutes before or after 7:30am, it will vary according to your hotel location. Our guide will greet you and introduce him\herself, on the way to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve (which is the first to visit) and will point out some instructions that you need to follow in order to make of this a smooth excursion.
8:00am (aproximate) It's hiking time!
Once at the Reserve’s entrance the guide will take care of the tickets and will get started on this fun and educational adventure in the cloud forest. There are a few trails to choose from, usually the one we recommend going to will take 2.5 hours to complete. While inside you will be making strategic stops to learn about the flora and fauna and some unscheduled stops depending on what might be encountered in the trails and to answer any questions you may have.
9:30am (aproximate) Break Time
Water and some fruits will be provided right before ending the tour at the first spot to keep the same strength for what's coming next.
10:30am (aproximate) Let's have a delicious lunch!
After exiting Monteverde, we will take you to a nice restaurant in a local farm located at 20 minutes outside for a unique lunch, in a natural environment with farm animals, rivers, fish ponds and tasty organic food to continue enjoying the day as you deserve. You can choose from different options, a fresh Tilapia Fillet, Grilled chicken, Zucchini Lasagna or smoked pork. If you have any dietary restrictions please let us know, we can always have something delicious ready for you.
1:15pm (approximate) Let's keep the pace at the next Reserve.
After an organic tasting we will drive back to Curi Cancha Reserve. As you will enter this smaller but beautiful Reserve you will see the differences between the two places and will find the hike much easier and with more clear spaces, of course at any moment be ready to spot an animal or a bird and pay attention to the beautiful natural gardens, big trees, orchids and sounds that can find while in the trails. This hike will also take approximately 2.5 hours to complete, which is plenty of time to learn and sightsee as much as possible while at one of the most popular cloud forests of the planet.
4:00pm (approximate) Back to the hotel
After a wonderful day hiking in the woods, seeing animals and birds and a fantastic lunch is time to get back to your hotel, the guide will take you and say goodbye. We hope you enjoy the rest of the afternoon and continue to enjoy the hidden treasures Monteverde has to offer.

Curi Cancha Reserve and Sky Walk Bridges
Curi Cancha is also known as a Bird Watchers Paradise because it offers easier trails to see and hear them! This is a smaller reserve compared to others in the area but offers a wide variety of nature and don't worry about the trails being crowded the reserve has a policy of a maximum of 50 people at one time at the park which makes it even more appealing, less people means higher changes to spot wildlife.
