Get ready to explore one of the best trails of the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, learn about orchids, epiphytes (plants that live on trees), birds, monkeys, reptiles and amphibians that can be found in the surrounding areas, see beautiful trees, plants and flowers while on a nice hike with our guides, later will have a different perspective of the forest when we get to the hanging bridges and then you will see some more species that live on the canopy of the trees and the best panoramic view from above while going on a series of suspension bridges of different heights and length. Biologists have discovered that 90% of organisms that live in the forests are located in the canopy since will be the best place to reach for sun, warmth and where the best food can be found...
After going on this different trek between the tops of the trees let's have an amazing lunch at Rancho de Lelo which is a local farm with farm animals and organic food that they grow themselves so that you can have a true dining experience!!!

Tour Itinerary
7:30am Be ready at the lobby of your hotel.
Exact pick up time will be provided to you on the confirmation email so you can be ready, right on time for the guide to meet you.
8:00am (aproximate) Prepare to experience the cloud forest!
We will reach the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, will discuss of the different trail options to choose the right one for you and the group and then we will get on the forest roads. The hike can take up to 2.5 hours to complete. In the meantime prepare your view and listening skills, pay attention to the guide as he/she will teach you all about birds, animals that will encounter along the way, trees and plants.
9:15am (aproximate) Time for fruits...
You will have a few minutes to rest and mingle with the group, make sure you also enjoy of some fresh tropical fruits and water that the guide will provide you with.
9:30am (aproximate) We need to continue the journey!
After a small recess you will continue on the trek to be amazed in the cloud forest grounds and start get on the way out.
10:30am (aproximate) A small drive awaits to the hanging bridges.
We will drive for about 25 minutes to the new tour location, and will reach the Sky Adventures Park to get a fantastic walk on the suspension bridges. Make sure to admire the little villages you will see along the way and see the life of the locals.
11:00am (aproximate) The adventure continues!
Once we have reached the new park the guide will take you around the 6 hanging bridges combined with small walks on the ground. This combination will change your perspective of the forest, be ready to learn and sightsee more natural elements of the cloudy woods. This hike is not strenuous, is an easy hike at an easy pace so you can enjoy the views and the animals you can see, it will be completed in 2.5 hours.
1:30pm (aproximate) We are done hiking
Let's get back to the van after a while new experience on the suspension bridges, we will drive for a few more minutes to the last part of the trip.
1:45pm (aproximate) Time to eat!
A wonderful lunch awaits you! Enjoy a delicious dish that has been prepared for you at a unique organic farm run by local family, have a nice drink or two made with seasonal fruits and get your stomach full while eating new, traditional food. Choose from our options, a fresh Tilapia Fillet, Grilled chicken, Zucchini Lasagna or smoked pork. Make sure you inform us of any special diet requests, we can always have a great meal for you!
2:30pm (aproximate) Enjoy the rest of the day!
After lunch you can take some time to go around the farm and see some of the animals around and ingredients used on your food, once you are done we will head back to your hotel. Curi Cancha Reserve and Sky Walk Bridges
Curi Cancha is also known as a Bird Watchers Paradise because it offers easier trails to see and hear them! This is a smaller reserve compared to others in the area but offers a wide variety of nature and don't worry about the trails being crowded the reserve has a policy of a maximum of 50 people at one time at the park which makes it even more appealing, less people means higher changes to spot wildlife.
