Monteverde given its location in the highlands tends to be sometimes cloudy and rainy, it doesn’t rain all day though, it’s usually in the afternoons which makes it ideal for morning activities. Tours don’t get cancelled due to rain, except there is a rough rain or weather on the sight, in which case only the tour companies will cancel or try to reschedule the activity, if hardly ever happens but in this case we make sure to contact you first.
It varies from company to company but to be sure that you can get a refund it is recommend to give a notice at least 48 hours before.
